Doctors are requesting that patients get regular check-ups to help stay on top of their health. They are highlighting the importance of prevention, as a means to reduce the number of patients requiring medical treatment or surgery.
Regular check-ups can help find potential health issues before they become a problem. When you see your doctor regularly, they are able to detect health conditions or diseases early. Early detection gives you the best chance for getting the right treatment quickly, avoiding any complications. By getting the correct health services, screenings, and treatment you are taking important steps toward living a longer, healthier life.
All these check-ups related to the medical aspect also apply to our spiritual aspects. 2 Corinthians 13:5 says “Take a good look at yourselves to see if you are really believers. Test yourselves. Don’t you realise that Christ Jesus is in you? Unless, of course, you fail the test!”
Below are 3 indices lists to know if you’re still in line with God in your daily live physically and spiritually:
- Do you still accept the word of God as it were when you first gave your life to Christ?
Galatians 1:6-8 says, “I am amazed. You are so quickly deserting the one who chose you. He chose you to live in the grace that Christ has provided. You are turning to a different ‘good news’. What you are accepting is really not the good news at all. It seems that some people have gotten you all mixed up. They are trying to twist the good news about Christ. Suppose even an angel from heaven should preach it. Suppose it is different from the good news we gave you. Then let anyone who does that be cursed by God.”
- Your first love to the first church at Ephesius, is it still in the same percentage like when it began or fading away?
Are you still keeping the Sabbath holy? When last have you read the Bible? The word of God is a fuel to carry us to this hard process called life. Jesus used the Word to conquer the devil when he came to tempt Him while He was fasting for 40 days and 40 nights.
- When you know you love the work of God
Do you still have the urge to do the works of God with joy, and not being forced to? Christians should bring souls who are lost to God. That’s one of the biggest work as a Christian, and doing so with humility without any sort of condemnation acts. 1 Corinthians 10:12 says “So be careful. When you think you are standing firm, you might fall.”
